Systems Change Impact
About
Grant success is supported by efforts and initiatives that go beyond individual programs or partners and aim to transform how the grantee, as part of the workforce ecosystem, effectively supports employers and the workforce. Indicators of impactful systems change include:
- Articulating a clear, specific, and compelling vision of what your project plans to do among all partners.
- Assessing and updating the vision in alignment with a deepening understanding of the workings of the system and the needed capacities.
- Developing systematic alternatives to existing isolated practice and identifying associated risks, rewards, and actions for the system as a whole.
- Creating a process to identify and rapidly responde to the needs of employers and workers in the region, using an iterative feedback process.
- Employing data-driven decision making for business processes used in the project.
- Driving enhancements with consideration of short- and long-term barriers and impacts.
- Institutionalizing partnership processes through consistent and regularly scheduled communications and workflow commitments.
- (For Tier 2) Integrating quarterly reporting, along with other more frequent measures, into project operations to identify and share outcomes with partners to support technical assistance and process revision, as needed.
