Increasing access to quality jobs and ensuring equity are at the core of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) Vision 2030. ETA’s vision for investing in America includes four workforce development pillars that focus on:
- Open Opportunities for Vulnerable Workers and Communities
- Building a Better Care Economy
- New Industry Partnerships that Lead to Real, Good Jobs
- Action Today for the Future of Work
Workforce System Strategies (WSS) is featuring a collection of resources that align with the four pillars of Vision 2030. The second workforce development pillar, Building a Better Care Economy, focuses on ensuring that ETA programs support good jobs and protections for care workers Identified by ETA staff as useful resources, this compilation addresses workforce development topics that are consistent with services such as career guidance, apprenticeship, job creation, employability skills, data-driven decisions that may lead to building a better economy.
Check out this compilation of resources that describe how programs improve outcomes for low-wage earners from underrepresented groups such as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), young adults, and women.
